Heavy Crust Removal
1. Vacuum away loose salt and debris.
2. Apply SaltMelt Pro Salt Residue Remover liberally to the crusted area. Let it dwell 5–10 minutes. Do not let it dry out.
3. Using the serrated edge, scrape away the top layer of hardened crust.
4. Apply a second coat of Salt Residue Remover. Let it dwell 3–5 minutes.
5. Agitate again, alternating the serrated and smooth ends, until the hardened area softens and begins to lift.
6. Blot with a clean towel or extract with a wet vac. Repeat on severe build-up.
Technique note
Use moderate pressure and keep the surface wet while working. Let the product do the work — aggressive scraping on dry carpet can damage fibers and backing. Test in a hidden area first. This is a professional tool; take your time on the first pass.
See the difference.
